Cute Outfit of the Day: Summerize

dress: thrift $5
Urban Outfitters necklace: gift $0
earrings: Target clearance $3
shoes: thrift $4
The Limited purse: thrift $7
Total Cost: $19

I did a blog post on this dress this past winter and showed how to take a summer dress and "winterize" it. So here we are 9months later and I thought I'd show you how I wear it in the summer too! Click here to see how I wore it before!

My bff Alicia got me this necklace for my birthday! I love it- she knows me so well!

Still searching for my precious cat Harvey- today is the 9th day he's been gone. Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement!

  4. The dress is gorgeous, but the necklace is fantastic.
If it helps, my cats was missing for a month and half last year. At night time, open a window. He's probably very close and you'll hear him if you keep a window open. During the day he will hide to keep away from cars, dogs, and unknowns, and at night he's trying to find his way to you. Zoey was outside my home every night meowing to get in, but because it was winter my windows were shut tight. It transitioned to spring and I cracked my bedroom window and the first night I heard a meow, ran outside, and it was her! Filthy but home!

  5. Love the summarized version of your outfit. So different form the winter one! I'll be thinking of you and your cat and his safe return to you. Another positive story: My friend's cat was gone for three weeks and finally was found. He wasn't far, but he was freaked out. Signs around the neighborhood helped. My friend got lots of calls about sightings and finally visited a neighbor's porch after she said the cat was under it. Sure enough, he was!

  6. I love dresses because they are so easy to make work for so many seasons and things. Fun to see both your looks. So sorry to hear about your cat. Pets are such an important part of our lives. Hoping he comes back sooner than soon!
