Another sweet Valentines Day look for you today! A girl's gotta have options, you know?!
So here's where the "for less" part comes in. I found this Luella dress on Pinterest that reminded me so much of my H&M dress. It's not an exact replica but it has the same feel to it with the pink pattern, the ruffles, and the black trim. I thought about adding a wad of pink tulle to my head but then decided against it!
Luella Bertha Floral Organza Dress $695 vs. H&M thrifted dress $7
If you are a Luella fan like me you may have heard that the line has been discontinued. So sad, I know! But before you despair, I have some amazing news! Luella Bartley, the designer behind Luella is going to work as the design director at Marc by Marc Jacobs (one of my other favorite fashion lines)! I can't wait to see what her feminine esthetic will do to their already quirky cute designs!

That is a super cute dress! You look great!
ReplyDeleteI think your dress is not only a cheaper version, but a more everyday wearable version of the dress. It looks great and I love it styled with the black coat! Thanks for linking up.

The dresses (today's and yesterday's) are so cute! I just cannot believe that you find them thrifting. What luck!! I really like the coat, too. I have a question totally off the subject, and since you deal with makeup and all... I am in need of refill pads for my eyelash curler (the ones I have don't fit and fall out) and can't find them anywhere. Do you know where I can get some without having to buy a new curler? Happy Valentine's Day and enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the price of your outfit! Amazing finds! You look FAB!

Crazy thing is your H&M dress looks way better, not really sure where you would wear the other one. Then again, I think that about most runway designs!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress!! So cute on you. Maybe a little tulle if you go out at night?!! Great job.
ReplyDeleteLove your dress!! Good job...I am a Goodwill Ambassador and it is so much fun to treasure hunt at thrift stores. Thanks for sharing on our Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteloving that look
ReplyDeleteI do love the pink ruffled dress, and I love that you added black to tone it down. Although I think the coat needs to be belted. Perhaps with a mirrored, metallic belt.
