Cute Outfit of the Day: Another Valentine's Day Look for Less

jacket: thift $4
H&M dress: Volunteers of America $7
heels: thrift $4
Total Cost: $15

Another sweet Valentines Day look for you today! A girl's gotta have options, you know?!

So here's where the "for less" part comes in. I found this Luella dress on Pinterest that reminded me so much of my H&M dress. It's not an exact replica but it has the same feel to it with the pink pattern, the ruffles, and the black trim. I thought about adding a wad of pink tulle to my head but then decided against it!

If you are a Luella fan like me you may have heard that the line has been discontinued. So sad, I know! But before you despair, I have some amazing news! Luella Bartley, the designer behind Luella is going to work as the design director at Marc by Marc Jacobs (one of my other favorite fashion lines)! I can't wait to see what her feminine esthetic will do to their already quirky cute designs!

  1. That is a super cute dress! You look great!

  2. I think your dress is not only a cheaper version, but a more everyday wearable version of the dress. It looks great and I love it styled with the black coat! Thanks for linking up.

  3. The dresses (today's and yesterday's) are so cute! I just cannot believe that you find them thrifting. What luck!! I really like the coat, too. I have a question totally off the subject, and since you deal with makeup and all... I am in need of refill pads for my eyelash curler (the ones I have don't fit and fall out) and can't find them anywhere. Do you know where I can get some without having to buy a new curler? Happy Valentine's Day and enjoy your weekend!

  4. I can't believe the price of your outfit! Amazing finds! You look FAB!

  5. Crazy thing is your H&M dress looks way better, not really sure where you would wear the other one. Then again, I think that about most runway designs!

  6. I love this dress!! So cute on you. Maybe a little tulle if you go out at night?!! Great job.

  7. Love your dress!! Good job...I am a Goodwill Ambassador and it is so much fun to treasure hunt at thrift stores. Thanks for sharing on our Thursday Blog Hop!

  8. I do love the pink ruffled dress, and I love that you added black to tone it down. Although I think the coat needs to be belted. Perhaps with a mirrored, metallic belt.
