Cute Outfit of the Day: Comfortable Chic

You know those days that you just want to be comfortable? Well, that's a lot of days for me! Most of the people around me would never guess that though because I've learned how to dress comfortable but still look great!

jacket: Goodwill $3.99
t-shirt: Goodwill $1.99
maxi skirt: Forever21 $8.90
wedge heels: Kelsi Dagger via Marshall's $25
necklace: gift $0

Total cost: $39.88

This outfit is made up of entirely comfortable materials but the cut of those comfy pieces are what gives this outfit style. Instead of just a plain old basic sweatshirt I chose a sweatshirt with a suit jacket cut which dresses this outfit up a bit. The maxi skirt is basic but the length adds drama. Instead of a flat shoe I chose a wedge heel because a heel always looks more put together than a flat. Wedges have all the style of a heel but are so much more comfortable. Lastly, a great tip to dress up even the most casual outfit is to add a statement necklace.

Try these tips to be comfortable chic anytime!
