Thrifting While on Vacation in Florida

Last week I was on vacation with my mom to visit my grandma in Lake Wales, Florida. One of our favorite things to do while we are together is thrift shop! Surprise, Surprise! My grandma actually owned and ran a thrift store called Second Hand Rose for many years in New Philadelphia, Ohio. I guess that's where I get my love of thrifting!

The first store we went to was The Salvation Army. I found so much great stuff! Not only was I finding great pieces but I was able to put together a whole outfit from the items I took into the dressing room! I love the random eclectic mix of the outfit I created and I especially love the vintage Lacoste cardigan I found for only $3! What a great find! The skirt is actually a tennis skirt but when you put it together with non-sporty items you wouldn't even know! I think the texture of the top works really well with the pattern in the skirt because both use geometric shapes. Even though the belt doesn't exactly match, I think the bright color works well with the other vibrant colors in the outfit!

It may be small in size but it's big on great finds!
