Shopping in Chicago

While in Chicago, we of course shopped on Michigan Ave but we also found some great boutiques in Wicker park as well! We have a lot of great shopping in Columbus, Ohio where we live but there are a few stores we don't have that we look forward to going to when we go to Chicago- Topshop, Nordstrom Rack, and GapBody to name a few! Here are the items I bought!

Urban Decay primer and makeup setting spray from Nordstrom Rack $8
 stone necklace from Akira $10
 earrings from Akira $0
Jewelry was Buy One Get one Free!
vintage necklace from Second Time Around on N.Milwaukee Ave
I loved this store! Everything was second hand but the store was as nice as any higher end new clothing store! The staff was super nice and helpful! They have a great selection of designer clothing at reasonable prices! I really want to open my own store and this store was definitely an inspiration!
vintage lace dress $12 from Crossroads Trading Co.
Emerald green pumps  $10.50 also from Crossroads Trading Co.
This store was just ok. It was really cramped and the merchandize was similar to what you would find at a Goodwill. I obviously found two great items though but the customer service was terrible!
new undies from Gap Body! 5/$20
I thought I'd spare you the specifics!

So I didn't buy a ton of stuff but I really like what I got and I feel like I got some good deals!

A few other stores we went to and likes in Wiker Park:
Una Mae's
Reckless Records
Vintage Underground

I could have spent a whole weekend just shopping in that area!

  1. Did you know a Nordstrom Rack is coming to Easton Market? Supposes to open mid-Sept.
