Cute Outit of the Day: Fall Colors done Summer Style

romper: Goodwill $5
necklace: Forever 21 $10
shoes: Goodwill $6
clutch: Thrift Store in Lake Wales, FL. $11
bracelet: Forever 21 $5
belt: Goodwill $2
Total Cost: $39

In the Summer, I always feel like I have to wear brights and whites or I'll look like I'm confused about the season. Well, I gave myself a little challenge to put together a summer outfit with colors that are totally not typical of the current season. I started with this dark green romper because a romper is a summer staple but it's in a common Fall color. Then I added my new brick red studded heeled sandals. Lastly, I added a necklace that picks up on all the colors in the outfit to bring it all together!

The colors say Fall but the style is all Summer!

  3. Loving this look so much!!! I wish I were a better thrift shopper. It's so hard to find plus size pieces and shoes in larger sizes. I'm going to keep trying because every post makes me want to go to my local thrift store! You have a great eye and fabulous style!

  6. Such a cute romper! I definitely thing green can be "summerized" just like you did here. This would look great paired with mint green or coral too for another summer color combo. Heather

  11. I have a vintage Hawaiian dress that is in "Fall" colors, but says Hawaii and Lei other such Hawaiian words, and has fall colored rainbows. At first I didn't know when to wear it, Summer or Fall. Now I wear it during both seasons. :o) Our Texas Fall is more like mild Summer most of the time anyways.
