Cute Outfit of the Day: Sporty Chic

jacket: Volunteers of America $5
t-shirt: Forever 21 $4
jeans: Denizen by Levi's for Target $28
sunglasses: Kmart $10
shoes: Goodwill $4
Total Cost: $51

I've always been a sports fan but I've never been a fan of sporty dressing. Even in my younger days I thought tennis shoes and sweats were to be worn while playing sports but I would never wear them otherwise (I've always loved dressing up!) So naturally I was hesitant to try the sporty chic trend but the chic part was enough to peak my curiosity!

TO try this trend just take a typical chic outfit but add one sporty piece. Simple enough, right? It could be a cute dress with sneakers or a ball cap with your leather pants. Warning: you'll probably see me rocking this trend a few more times before I decide to throw in the towel!

Here's some more inspiration to get your creative juices flowing:

  20. I'm with you. Not a fan of dressing to sporty (I hate running shoes unless I'm actually exercising in them), but one piece, intentionally worn with other non-sporty pieces looks great! I love that jacket and that you got it for $5.

I'm going to try sneakers with a skirt or a baseball jacket (if I can thrift one) with a dress.
