Cute Outfit of the Day: Vintage Cardigan Modernized

vintage cardigan: Goodwill $3.99
Christian Dior Tank: Goodwill $3.99
Vigoss jeans: Goodwill $4.99
vintage shoes: Volunteers of America $3.99
necklace: Goodwill $5.99
Total Cost: $22.95

This cardigan kinda looks like something an old lady would wear but at the same time I love it so much! Pastels are so trendy right now and the floral pattern is so pretty! I paired it with this vintage Christian Dior tank I found years ago and then balanced the sweetness with some ripped up boyfriend jeans.

I think what I like about this outfit the most is how unique it is! You show up in this and I can guarantee no one will be wearing the same thing! That's why I love thrifting and vintage so much! I love being unique and even a bit quirky! Fashion is so fun!
Congrats to Suzanne Carillo for winning the $25 Heylee B. giveaway!

  3. I love this look Lindsay! and I don’t think it carries any flavour of old lady at all. I lived in England for a year and cardigans just like this were EVERYWHERE - hot trend! Looks very pretty and great combo with the distressed jeans :)

  7. The cardigan and heels are absolutely adorable! I love the way you styled them too. I bet this cardi would also look great with mint skinnies!

  9. Wohoo! I won! Now what do I do??? LOL

I love this look, casual yet the blazer makes it look dressy enough to go out. The necklace really brings it all together for me. Very pretty and the colours are perfect for you.

  16. I believe that cardigan is fairly recent from Target. I could be wrong, but it looks exactly like the one I've been trying to find in my daughter's size out here in Arizona.

    1. It actually has a vintage tag that says Jody T of California! Target is so great though- they probably did make something similar!

  19. I'm liking the jeans!
I wore that houndstooth cropped jacket you gave me awhile back and got several compliments on it. Now that I got my black jeggings back, I'll probably wear it more! like wearing all black with the jacket (oh dear, JM has rubbed off on me with the all black)
