If you've been following along this week you know that my husband and I took a little trip to Pittsburg for my birthday. On Tuesday evening for my birthday dinner we rode the Duquesne Incline to the top of Mt. Washington and had dinner overlooking the city. the whole thing was just magical!
The Duquesne Incline- it has been running since 1887!
me in my $4.99 Goodwill dress (see more of it here)
my handsome hubby, Jason
Duquesne Incline- this is the actual cable car that you ride in

and the view from the top after dinner!
Then Wednesday morning before we headed home we hit up the South Side Goodwill that was just a few miles from our hotel! I love thrifting in other cities! As soon as I past through those sliding doors I got an overwhelming feeling that I was home! Wherever I am I can always step into a Goodwill store and feel right at home!
The store was really big and nice! It was very similar to the ones I'm used to in Ohio.
The main difference was that the clothes were hung according to size. They put all the tops together (short sleeve, long sleeve, sweaters, tanks, and t's) but they were sized! I really like that!
They had the cutest kids shoes!
and I bought this precious mug for $1!
They also had a lot of really nice woman's shoes but they were a $7.99-$9.99 which I think is expensive for Goodwill
This book caught my eye and totally cracked us up!
They had a lot of the same Target stuff that we have at the Columbus, Ohio Goodwill's
I thought this book bag was so super cute!
We are home now! I'll show you my thrift store finds tomorrow! Thanks for all the kind birthday wishes too! You guys are so sweet! It was a great birthday and I just really felt loved!
