I didn't used to wear maxi dresses because I'm so short but I found a few lately that I like so much I don't even care if I look short! When I found this dress at Goodwill it was missing the inner slip so it was totally sheer- not the look I was going for! So when I got home I found another dress that had a black slip under it and used it for this dress. I like how the slip is much shorter than the dress so that you can enjoy the sheerness in an appropriate area.

I HATE it when I find a maxi dress at Goodwill that doesn't have the slip underneath! Good for you for problem solving there though!
ReplyDeleteYou are NOT too short for a maxi so remove that thought from your head! Looks great.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! You look adorable and not short at all. ;) As long as they aren't dragging on the ground, maxi dresses can be very elongating for the petite lady. Now, finding one that doesn't drag on the ground is another story entirely! ;) And I love the shorter slip - just a hint of sheer - perfection!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress. You look perfect and not worry about your size, you look great with it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous outfit! I know what you mean about maxi-dresses vs height challenged peeps! I think it's a matter of having an excuse to purchase some awesome high heeled/wedged shoes - like you have! Love!

Sweetie, you don't look short. I do maxi's ALL the time and its all about proportion. We shorties just can't do blouson all over. You got it right! Anytime you doubt yourself in a maxi, take a look at Rachel Zoe. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove this maxi and your necklace! You look so good!!!
