We got back from Chicago last night, tired but excited to have my brother home! We went to Chicago for his grad school graduation from University of Illinois Chicago. It was a great trip! We got to see some of the projects my architect brother has been working on, explore downtown, and eat lots of good food! On the downside, the weather definitely left something to be desired. It was pretty cold and damp. I decided not to post any outfit pictures from the trip because of the weather I ended up just layering on half my suitcase to stay warm and wind and moisture was not kind to the hair. So you're not missing much!
I was worried when I saw the title! Ha! I have never seen a hemline like this on a casual skirt.
ReplyDeleteLove the high-low skirts but I really like how you did it rocker style!

Lovely skirt, and I like how you combined a more feminine bottom with an edgier look on top. I actually had a mullet once. A real one. My sweet well-meaning sister was certain she could give me layers. And yes. Layers they were. :-S
ReplyDeletei like the combination of the pleated skirt with a graphic tee, they work so well together!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that mullet isn't on your head! Love your blog! So glad you found mine too! Let's follow each other!

Business up front, party in the back...isn't that how the mullet saying goes!? Anywho...you know, I wasn't really loving high-low skirts, but I think you may have persuaded me. I love the this look from head to toe. Are your shoes current from Marshall's? :) Amanda
