Cute Outfit of the Day: Gingerbread Woman

dress: vintage via Volunteers of America $2.99
scarf: Goodwill $1.99
boots: Goodwill $3.99
purse: Aldo $20
belt: Goodwill $1.99
knee socks: F21 Christmas gift
Total Cost: $30.96

I put this outfit together today to feature a few new items. I got this vintage t-shirt dress a few weeks ago while shopping at Volunteers of America with my brother. He said the dress reminded him of gingerbread! Yumm! I'm not sure if he meant that as a good thing or a bad thing but I didn't care- I know when I like something! I added the scarf because I thought it needed a pop of color. I went with the knee socks rather than the tights because It felt like it was starting to look a little matronly. The quickest way to fix that is to show a peek of skin. My husband got me these socks for Christmas! Lastly, the purse I bought the day after Christmas with some of the money I received. I love how high end it looks! It was half off too! See, I do shop retail, sometimes, when it's a good deal! Many people would buy a belt for $31. I buy a whole outfit! I'm not better, just thriftier... and a little smarter, perhaps?!
