Our Christmas Party

On Thursday night we hosted a Christmas Party for our Bible study group. Everyone brought food, a gift for a white elephant exchange, and many wore tacky Christmas attire. Of course I'm a big fan of ugly Christmas sweaters because where can you always find them (other than your mom's closet) the thrift store!!!
Here are some of the highlights:
My friend Laura made these adorable brownie Santa hats
I loved Dan's "California Christmas" outfit! He even wore flip flops! That's my kind of Christmas!
My adorable husband. This outfit made me laugh so hard- for obvious reasons!
And the winner of the best dressed contest is...
Lydia, for sure! I don't know how she came up with this getup but it's amazing!  The reindeer's nose even lights up!
My beautiful model Loretta and Me in my lovely Christmas sweater
getting ready for the white elephant exchange. We had like 30 people packed in our little living room!

The Glee game was a hot item
the hottest item of the night was the Nerf Crossbow! Joshua was like a kid on Christmas morning!
I got ammunition and a matching hat but ended up with a $5 Starbucks Gift card. I got kind of attached to the hat so Dan took the ammunition but let me keep the hat! So sweet!
Brandon was really excited about his new pink Snuggie
poor Joshua got his gun stolen and ended up with Mamma Mia and a book on love
 An autographed Star Trek picture
Paige is really enjoying her new Justin Bieber book
Derek in his mom's hand made sweater. Anyone else wondering why Santa is riding a bike in shorts through the snow?

Anyone else get anything cool at a white elephant exchange this year?
More on my holiday decor on Monday!
