The taping of the news segment for Volunteers of America I did yesterday went great! I pulled a whole rolling rack of great outfits that will be for sale on Wednesday at the National Thrift Shopping Event. I found some really cute stuff! Natalie Taylor from Fox 28 tried on some of the outfits and then picked one to wear on air on Wednesday! Here she is checking out with her new outfit:
And here is what I wore for the taping:
And here is what I wore for the taping:
jacket: AnnTaylor via Goodwill $3.49
top: vintage Volunteers of America $1.99
pleated skirt: Volunteers of America $1.99
purse: Salvation Army $2.99
shoes: goodwill $3.99
belt: Volunteers of America $1.99
Total Cost: $16.44
There is so much about this outfit that I love! This is one of my favorite tops. It is just so unique and you can't go wrong with polka dots! I also love the combination of black and white and red! it's a classic combination. I'm really into pleated skirts right now and this one is super versatile! It's a little busy but it works because of the simple color scheme.

Lindsey I LOVE that outfit! Red and black are my favorite color combos and the Ann Taylor jacket is fantastic (especially 'cuz it's from my favorite store!). Good luck tomorrow!
