Thrift and Shout on the News: Back to School Fashion Show

I did my monthly thrifty news segment on Fox 28 this morning. We did a back to school fashion show. I know, don't hate me! It's coming up whether you like it or not!
It went really well! I felt even more comfortable this time! And my models looked beautiful and did an amazing job! Even the Producer was impressed with their modeling skills!

The link has not been posted yet but I will put it up when it is!

Here are some shots of everyone getting ready:
Me pinning skinny mini Acacia's pants so they would stay up!
Yes, we get ready in an office room
Trying to get Acacia's boots zipped up- it was not easy!
Aunt Brenda even offered up her socks to help Acacia get into the boots! What a sacrifice!
Sarah absolutely loved her hot pink sequin Converse that I got from Goodwill for only $4.29!
Sarah's purse- a Loeffler Randall for Target via Goodwill $2
The gorgeous models (from the left) Acacia, Sarah, and Rachel.
This is Rachel- she is my husband's cousin's daughter and our Sporty Girl
 Aeropostale zip-up sweatshirt: Goodwill $3.29
Express gold sequin tank: Goodwill $3.29
Vigoss Studio Jeans: $5.99
pink metallic purse: $2
Olsenboye clogs: $4.29 (these where all scuffed up but I buffed them with brown shoe polish and now they look brand new!)
Total Cost: $18.86

This is Sarah. She's our Girly Girl
 XOXO sweater: Goodwill $3.29
Z.Co. black Jeans: Goodwill $5.99
pink sequin shoes: Goodwill $4.29
bow headband: Goodwill $1.99
gold purse: Goodwill $1.99
Total Cost: $17.55

This is Acacia. She is our rock star!
 Top: Goodwill $3.29
Miley Cyrus fringe vest: $3.29
Bullhead jeans: $5.99
tall zip-up boots: $4.29
Total Cost: $16.86

And here's me! I'm doing a preppy look!
Victorias' Secret PINK Jacket: Goodwill $3.99
plaid shirt: Target boys dept. $12
Jeans: Forever 21 $12.99
 boat shoes: Goodwill $3.99

Back to school can be a really expensive time with all the supplies, and clothing that kids need! Why not take your kids to the thrift store and get so much more for your money!
