Happy Monday Everyone!
Hope you all had a fun and relaxing weekend!
The highlight of my weekend, besides my hot date with my husband on Saturday, was my Craigslist find! I found 2 large clothing wardrobes for only $50 each!
Why so I need 2 giant wardrobes you ask?
Why because I'm a thrift store addict of course!
Actually, I am currently in the process of turning our 2nd bedroom into a closet room! Since I've started thrifting my closet has begun to burst at the seems. When we moved into our house 1 year ago, the only down side was that there is very little closet space. My husband uses the tiny closet in our bedroom and I took the slightly bigger closet in the 2nd bedroom but it is not nearly enough. I also use a 6ft wide closet in the basement and a 7ft hanging rack in the laundry room. It's so hard to get dressed when your clothes are spread out all over the house! So my goal is to fit as much as possible into the spare bedroom.
Here is the basement closet: (please ignore the junk in the bottom)
And here is the laundry room rack where I keep all my dresses:
Also, to help with this goal, my brother is coming over in about an hour to start remodeling the closet in the 2nd bedroom! I am so excited! It was originally made as a nursery closet to hold baby clothes and toys on the shelves. I obviously have way different needs!
The other big problem with this closet is that it goes back to the right pretty far but because of the wall and the lack of a light it is like a dark cave. (picture taken with a flash)
So my brother is going to cut out the wall and install french doors so I can access the whole closet. Here is a picture of the wall now:
I will keep you updated on how it's going. I imagine it will take us most of the week. And I want to give a BIG thanks to my ex construction worker now Architect brother for all his help! You're the best! My brother and I last Christmas:
Wow - I'd love to have so much wardrobe space!

I'm so jealous of your Craigslist score. I am looking for exactly the same thing, but don't want to spend a lot. I never see anything good on the Cbus Craigslist so it didn't even occur to me. Duh! Time to set up an autoalert.
