Happy Monday Everyone!
I actually bought this dress a couple of summers ago while on vacation in Chicago. I can't remember the name of the store but it was a cute little resale shop in the Wicker Park area. I'm a sucker for lace dresses and at $12 I had to have this one! Well for some reason it has hung in my closet ever since. I've never worn it... until now! I wanted to make it a bit more casual so I added a rugged brown belt which you can find at any thrift store for next to nothing! I also thought about adding my green army jacket but I wanted you to see how pretty this dress is.

Can I borrow it? ;)
ReplyDeleteYep, you're right, the outfit is a real cutie. The dress is really beautiful, I love the soft color tone, and I love the lace fabric, so soft and floaty. The design of the neck and sleeves is really nice and the rope around the neck is a touch of elegance and romance. I would take the belt. I like a lot.
ReplyDeleteLove the details of your dress. So lovely!

The colour of this dress is perfect with your skin tone. It almost blends right in, but the lace texture makes it pop!
