Thrifty Finds Friday: My Birthday Haul

Here are my thrift store finds from my Birthday thrift shopping trip. We went to the Volunteers of America and the Ohio Thrift both on Henderson Rd. and the Campus Goodwill:

    I've never been to a thrift store in wicker park but they do have some "upscale" clothing resale shops. Amazing stuff but more expensive. I prefer to go to the salvation army or unique thrift in Chicago, where its much cheaper.

    I love all of these, especially the shoes and the lovely leather jacket! I found a purple leather jacket on half off day at Goodwill but I didn't get it. Too small. The leather was buttery soft too!

    I have so many favourites! But probably my top 2 are the Sfera dress (reminds me of Mad Men) and the Purple Cat with Green jacket. So gorgeous!

    The wedding event starts with the celebration of friends before the wedding and ends with Walima. Rukhsati and Walima. Without a wedding dress, all these ceremonies are incomplete, and the bride needs a lot of embroidery.
