Topshop dress: Ohio Thrift $15
necklace: Goodwill $10
belt: Goodwill $2
shoes: Goodwill $4
Total Cost $31
As you might remember, I got this Topshop dress from Ohio Thrift when I went shopping with two of my blogger friends. I debated it because of the cost but ultimately got it because it is so unique and it's from Topshop- so it's worth it, right?
Would you have paid $15 for this thrifted Topshop dress?

Yes, you can defintely justify the price.. Sometimes as thrifters we get so uce to low pricing that we have to remind ourselves that a splurge now and again is worth it... This dress definitely qualifies!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? YES! Here I can never find any of those $2 or $5 dresses you seem to find. They are all $45, and that is at a consignment or thrift store. This was so worth it. You look stunning in it. Just stunning.

The color and style of the dress is very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks beautiful on you! I don't think I would've splurged on it for myself but I can see why you did! I totally understand the feeling of hesitating on paying more than you're used to at a thrift store, and I think the advice from a poster above is spot on: We need to remember that a bargain every now and then is worth it! :)

ReplyDeleteYes, definitely worth the price! It's a great design and the colors are beautiful on you. I think the necklace and the belt together might be a little much, though. Maybe a thinner belt or no belt at all would be best.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love that dress! You are rocking it!
ReplyDeleteYeah ... I have been waiting for you to wear this dress! pippa
ReplyDeleteUm...YES! It is so cool! I love everything about it! Definitely worth $15!

ReplyDeleteOMyGosh! I almost missed seeing this post! I have wondered how you were going to style this dress when you first talked about it. ILOVETHEBELT!!! It give the dress a more grounded vibe while letting the sheer and the decorations hold their own. Awesome job. Once in a while it is OK to spend a bit more, when you are so tempted. LOL
ReplyDeleteThis dress is adorable!!! Definitely would have paid for it. Love your blog. Found you from The Pleated Poppy WIWW.
