dress: Goodwill $5
bracelet: Goodwill $4
scarf: Goodwill $2
shoes: Goodwill $4
Total Cost: $15
The challenge with styling this dress was that I didn't want anyone to think I work at a zoo or a state park! I figured out that the key is in the accessories! Adding the scarf, the shoes, and the bracelet with a bit color gave it the look I was going for!
I'm headed to IKEA yay! Have a great day!
Today I'm linking up with:
That dress is so cute & looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteLove the bangle and head scarf! Such gorgeous colors :)
ReplyDeleteI love the head scarf and the pop of color on the shoes!
ReplyDeleteReally great look, you really did perk it up with very cute assessories, I love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteI love your pops of color! I had a similar dress several years ago and really struggled with it because I didn't want to look like a boy scout troop leader. (Ironically, now that I no longer have the dress, I'm a boy scout troop leader...)
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute! I love the khaki dress. The scarf definitely makes it more fashion-y and less like you work on a safari!

That looks really cute together. I love the cinched waist on your dress. I also love Goodwill and thrift shopping.
ReplyDeleteThat's the truth. Such a good reminder when deciding whether to keep those problematic, plain pieces in the wardrobe. This little dress has a military style, great with the very girly and specific accents. You know how to do it.
ReplyDeleteSo, so adorable! Love the head scarf. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis is a great outfit! I love your accessories!!
