Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day? These days it is totally acceptable but be aware there are a few changes in how you wear white during the colder months of the year. Here are my tips:
-Pair whites with dark, neutral colors, but save navy blue and white for spring!
-Avoid pairing white with bright summery colors and pattterns.
-Try switching from a true white to an off white or "winter white".
-Blazers and chunky knit sweaters work great with white bottoms.
-Put away lightweight materials like linen, and eyelet. Pull out white wool, denim, and brocades
-White outerwear and accessories can really brighten up a bleak winter day.
-white always look great with black!
White can be so chic and clean looking all year round!

ReplyDeleteThis is so helpful! I have a really hard time figuring out how to wear winter white but I've always wanted to do it. I have a cream coat but that's about it. I'll have to try something like your outfit!
