Modern Mod Monday

I found this adorable long sleeve black dress at Goodwill last week for $4.99! It has a great vintage 60's feel to it! I added my tall black suede boots and a strobe light-esque necklace to create this look! After I shot this I thought I should have added my fuchsia tights to this look! Oh well. you can imagine right?! I'm having a really hard  time getting into cold weather dressing!

Why this outfit works:

-black with black is always chic

-the long length of the sleeve balances the shortness of the skirt

-retro looks are hot right now
-it's not over the top 60's- the all black color palette brings it into 2010

-a low heel on the shoe is important with a shorter hemline
