Cute Outit of the Day: Fall Colors done Summer Style

romper: Goodwill $5
necklace: Forever 21 $10
shoes: Goodwill $6
clutch: Thrift Store in Lake Wales, FL. $11
bracelet: Forever 21 $5
belt: Goodwill $2
Total Cost: $39

In the Summer, I always feel like I have to wear brights and whites or I'll look like I'm confused about the season. Well, I gave myself a little challenge to put together a summer outfit with colors that are totally not typical of the current season. I started with this dark green romper because a romper is a summer staple but it's in a common Fall color. Then I added my new brick red studded heeled sandals. Lastly, I added a necklace that picks up on all the colors in the outfit to bring it all together!

The colors say Fall but the style is all Summer!

Thrifty Finds Friday: Bloggers Meetup Finds

As I mentioned on Monday I got to meet up with two other bloggers- Heather from H&K Style Journey and Ally from Fever Thrift for some thrift shopping this past Sunday. Here is what I found:

From Volunteers of America on Henderson:
 Gap blouse $4

Then from Ohio Thrift also on Henderson Rd.:
Ralph Lauren ikat print skirt size 8 $7
I will be selling this beauty!
 Michael Kors top $3
need s a little ironing but will be super cute for summer!
 Topshop dress $15
I didn't really want to pay that much for it but this is such a unique piece and it's from Topshop!

Then I snuck off to the little girls section for a minute and found the next two dresses that fit me perfectly:
 Candies dress $7
 Freckles dress $3
some the Prada copy cat stripes!
 Ralph Lauren dress $3
Heather picked this cute little eyelet lace dress out for me!
 vintage pencil skirt $3
Love a good pencil skirt in just about any color!
Bakers white leather ankle strap heels $5
This was my favorite find of the day! I've been looking to buy a pair of shoes exactly like these but for a LOT more!

Any Favorites?

Cute Outfit of the Day: A Fashionable 4th

vintage dress: Goodwill $5
The Limited belt: thrift $2
vintage pumps: Goodwill $4
vintage purse: Goodwill $2
sunglasses: Kmart $10
Total Cost: $23

Happy 4th of July!
I'd like to begin by saying that I love red, white, and blue together! I think it's a great color combo even when it's not the 4th of July! I went with sort of vintagy look this year. I love this little beaded purse! I know it's maybe a bit corny but I guess I am too!

Hope you all are enjoying your holiday! I'm looking forward to going to our community breakfast tomorrow at the Whetstone Park of Roses. Several neighborhood restaurants cater the event and they have a flag raising, dog show, and a 5k run. It's a fun time to get to know your neighbors and hang out with the ones you already know! Other than that I think I'm just going to take it easy!

Cute Outfit of the Day: Tropical Skirt?

 blouse: Goodwill $4
Cache skort: $4
shoes: Goodwill $4
bucket bag: Volunteers of America $4
bracelet: Target $10
earrings: Bealls Outlet $4
Total Cost: $30

Surprise! It's a Skort not a Skirt! Who wears skorts these days you ask? Well, other than dowdy soccer moms...this girl! I love taking something that is typically "unstylish" and turning it into a fashion statement! It's a challenge but I think it's worth it to possibly open someone's mind to something they may not have tried before!

I love how fresh and bright this outfit its! Perfect for summer! I've been carrying this faux ostrich bucket bag a lot lately! I've always had a thing for bucket bags and it seems like they are having a rise in popularity right now! Yay!

Cute Outfit of the Day: Retro Leopard Confussion

Ok, I need your help!
I got this vintage leopard dress last week at Goodwill and I'm not sure which way to wear it! The way the collar lays you would wear it the zipper in the front but the tag is actually right near the zipper. Since the tag traditionally goes in the back then that means you would wear it with the zipper in the back! Such confusion! So I tried it both ways and I need to know which way you think it looks better?

 OR

vintage dress: Goodwilll $2
vintage belt: Goodwill $2
shoes: Goodwill $4
sunglasses: Target $12
Total Cost: $20

Did you notice that my cheap sunglasses cost more than the whole rest of the outfit! I love it! almost as much as I love leopard print! And I also love how 60's this dress look! It was long but I think it's much cuter as a mod mini dress!

This Versace purse was the inspiration for this outfit:
Do you like it with the zipper in the front or with the zipper in the back?
