Birthday Thrift Adventure

Here are some pictures from my Birthday thrift shopping adventure yesterday with my mom, aunt Sue, and aunt Becky! We went to lunch to power up first then shopped 3 different thrift stores!
 I got these super cool vintage boots!

 My mom got this princess gown because my soon to be 3 year old niece loves princesses!

I came home with three large bags and two normal size shopping bags full of stuff! Happy Birthday to me!

It's my Birthday! Yay!

Going thrift shopping today with my mom and two aunts! Of course! There is nothing else I'd rather be doing! Then tonight my hubby has planed a special night for me! I have the best men in my life! My husband, my dad, and my father-in-law are always the first three people to wish me a happy birthday every year! They make me feel so special!

I decided to post this dress today because it is the same print as the first dress I wore as a baby! I even got the nickname Rosebud from wearing that dress!

 This dress is seriously the most comfortable piece of clothing ever! I decided not to even belt it because I love the way it just hangs loosely over my body! This week is turning out to be comfy dress week! But truthfully that's what I wear all summer long! How about you?

Like I said yesterday, I took this week off for my birthday which is tomorrow! Yay! I'm trying to spend the week relaxing and doing things I love. I started the week off with a trip to the mall to spend a bunch of gift cards I've accumulated (can't wait to show you my statement necklace from Francesca's!), then I put together a case of beer from one of those places where you can chose individual bottles and make your own case! Then yesterday, I spent the day at the pool with my best friend Alicia. For dinner my hubby and I went to Noodles because they sent me a free bowl for my B-day! Then today my hubby took the day off and took me to breakfast at my favorite spot- First Watch! Oh, and I've been watching a lot of my new guilty pleasure Pretty Little Liars (thanks to my soon-to-be sister-in-law Monica!) Great week so far and more to come!

I am loving this Zac Posen for Target dress this summer! It is basically just a long tank top- so comfy!

Cute Outfit of the Day: Light Blue Eyelet

This is another dress that came from my outing with some blogger friends. Heather from H&K Style Journey actually picked this one out for me! She has a great eye because this is a Ralph Lauren dress and it was only $3! I couldn't resist because I love eyelet lace and anything light blue (because it matches my eyes!). It is a super cute dress but something about the straight neckline with spaghetti straps was screaming 1998 to me. Easy fix... just add a scarf! Instantly modernized! I also didn't want the pastel and eyelet to make the look too sweet so grounding it with some brown leather did the trick!
