Cute Outfit of the Day: Vintage but Modern LBD

vintage dress: thrift $7
shoes: thrift $4
clutch: thrift $3
bracelet: Forever 21 $5
Total Cost: $19

Hey Everyone! Thanks for letting me have some time off. As most of you know, we had to bury my Grandma this past Saturday and I've also been suffering with the worst headache of my life for over a week now. It is still hurting so I'm not sure how much blogging I'm going to be able to do this week. Taking it day by day. If you think of me please ay a prayer that I start to feel better soon. Thanks!

This outfit was from a few weeks ago before my Grandma heart attack and fall. It is kind of ironic that it is a little black dress although this is a bit fancier than what I wore to the funeral. When I first saw this dress at the thrift store,  I thought it would be from Asos or maybe a dept store brand because it looks so modern. I was shocked when I saw the tag and realized it's vintage- probably 80's or 90's. Proof that all great styles some back around!

A special thank you to everyone who commented with words of encouragement after my Grandmas passing wither here on the blog or on Facebook! I've felt so supported and loved by you guys! You're the best!

  1. Lindsey, I love the LBD, so simple, so elegant and so feminine. Yours is cute with this beautiful way to design part of the neckline. Your figure looks gorgeous in this dress. It's a great proposal.

  4. You look great in the dress! Try some peppermint essential oil for your headache, it's all natural and should be able to take the pain away.
