Cute Outfit of the Day: My Magical Gingham Shirt

 H&M jacket: thrift $4
shirt: Gap $10
leather coated jeans: Gap $16
shoes: Target (gift) $0
sunglasses: Target $13
purse: thrift $2
Total Cost: $35

This gingham shirt might not look that special but I'm telling you... it's magical! Many, many years ago when my hubby and I were just friends in high school we were hanging out at a friend's graduation party. I was wearing this shirt. Next thing I know Jason says, I'll be right back! He came back wearing a black and white gingham skirt! He literally ran home (he lived a few blocks away) and changed into his gingham shirt so we would be twins! That was the first moment I knew that he liked me! And the rest is history! And yes, I have had this shirt since high school! That just proves that gingham blouses are a classic!

  5. Love the story behind the shirt, an item which holds symbolic meaning is the reason i love vintage clothes! You never know who wore it, what happened and stories like this one could be behind so many items, its really sweet :)
