Fall 2014 Trend: Western Wear

vegan leather dress: thrift $7
Banana Republic blouse: thrift $4
belt: thrift $3
bracelet: thrift (gift)
shoes: Target $10
Total Cost: $24

Today I am showing how to rock Fall's Western Trend! This look is a bit more pre-fall but I'll do this trend again once it gets a little cooler out! I could not be more excited about this trend because adding western elements to my outfits has been one of my signature looks for years. Even though I'm a city girl, I have a huge love for all things western/ southwestern- it's in my roots!

The Western trend can be a bit tricky. The point is not to look like you are going to a rodeo! Like most trends it's easiest to start with incorporating one or two pieces at a time rather than a head to toe look. Try a fringed purse, a cowboy hat, distressed denim, a gingham blouse, a bolero, beaded jewelry or anything leather or suede. I am really wanting to try a blanket cape but not sure if I can find one that won't overpower my small frame. Yee-ha! Sorry, I couldn't resist!
