I realized the other day that I never wear light colored denim- I don't even think I owned a pair! Not sure why? I think they just seemed too casual to me. So off to Old Navy I went. I really like the fit of their Rock Star jeans and lucky me I found the exact pair I wanted on the clearance rack for only $15! Score!
So my challenge to myself with these new light denim jeans was to somehow style them in dressy way. Yes, I make fashion challenges for myself- everyone should! I chose to pair them with black because I like the contrast of the light denim and the dark shade and I thought it would be the best way to dress up these jeans. Now someone plan a party because I'm all dressed up with no place to go!

DeleteI don't purchase light color jeans either. I feel like they are not flattering on fuller figures. However, due to frequent wear I have several pairs that have turned light and I just wear them around the house. I may try styling them for night and see how it goes.

What is the best way to clean and disinfect thrift store shoes? I have seen a few pairs but have been hesitate.

ReplyDeleteI didn't have light colored jeans either until I recently picked a pair up at Goodwill. Mine might be mom jeans, but they work. I like how the color of your jeans puts the focus on all the other great detailing in your outfit--in a way that black jeans might not.
ReplyDeleteI recently purchased a pair of light jeans too, and I love them! Also from Old Navy. I stayed away from them before because I thought it wasn't flattering, but it's actually a good contrast with dark colors. Love how you put yours together! :)
