Cute Outfit of the Day: Meet Susan Marshall

Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you had a good weekend! I'm a little late posting today because I got a facial today! It was so wonderful!

Today I wanted to feature someone very special to me! Let me introduce you to Susan Marshall! I usually just call her my aunt but she is really my Grandma's niece through marriage. It's confusing! Anyway, she is a very stylish lady and a fellow thrift store lover like myself. Her and my grandma actually ran a second hand store called Second Hand Rose in New Philadelphia, Ohio for many years! I used to love hanging out in their store when I was growing up! So I like to think I do what I do today because of them! She was also a hair stylist and gave me my first perm when I was 12 which I think began my obsession with my hair! I am so glad she is in my life and I'm forever grateful for teaching me about beauty and being thrifty!

While I was in Florida this past February, my mom and I got to spend the night with Susan and she took us to all he favorite thrift and resale stores! She found this awesome black blazer at the Goodwill in North Port, Florida so I asked her to send me a picture of it to show you all her great find! It's a Travel Smith blazer which usually sells for over $100! My favorite part are the hidden pockets on the inside of the jacket!

 Travel Smith blazer: Goodwill $5
top: TJ Maxx $7
Apt 9 jeans: Kohl's $7
Total Cost: $19

Susan is also a very talented jewelry designer! She makes the most amazing creations out of shells, metallic wires, and sometimes even beads. I just love how she bends the wires and wraps them around the shell. She makes necklaces and earrings and every one is completely unique. It was so hard to pick just one but this is the necklace I took home:
Isn't it gorgeous! I really think she needs to sell them on Etsy. I wish I had more to show you but I will tell you I was very impressed with her designs!
