Cute Outfit of the Day: I'm Sneaker Chic

sweatshirt: thrift $6
leggins: Target $10
shoes: Target $10
watch: Bealls $10
 necklace: Target $5
Total Cost: $41

I got my hair cut yesterday! Shannon at the Polaris Kenneth's Hair Salon in Columbus, Ohio cut it for me and she did a great job- I love it! It's quite a bit shorter this time- I finally worked up the courage to get it buzzed!

Sneakers are not something I usually every wear; outside of the gym that is! I have really short legs so I never like the way I look in any kind of flats. So when the wedge sneaker trend came out I had to give it a try! I'll be honest I bought these shoes about a year ago and never wore them until now. They were just a bit out of my comfort zone. Then the other day I decided I'm either going to wear them or get rid of them. So I wore them while running errands and fell in love with how comfortable they are! So I have to say they have definitely grown on me! You have to love a trend that is actually comfortable!

I took some photos of Harvey today and thought I'd share! He's about 10 months old now and has doubled in size since we brought him home 5 months ago! He is such a sweetie! He loves snuggling with me which I of course love as well! He's a bit of an early riser though. He wants everyone up at 7am and he does so with constant crying, jumping on us, and even the occasional punch in the face! He's too cute to be mad at though and I probably could stand to get up a little earlier!

Today I'm lining up with:

  1. Nope not a fan of sneakers. They make everyones feet look so big. Some of these big sneakers look more like ski boots. I will be sticking with shoes and boots. Your kitty is so cute! Looks like he found a great home!

    1. Thanks for you input Kristy. I've never been a big fan of them either but I really like to try new trends at least once! I do feel like my feet feel huge in these- it took some getting used to!

  2. not a fan of "gym shoes" either but love Converse and flats in general... cannot do heals!
By the way, LOVE your hair!!! If my hair wasn't so curly that is exactly the hair cut I would wear... instead I keep it really short all over... kind of like your shorter side...

  9. I LOVE wedge sneakers (despite the fact most of my girlfriends don't) but they are a cute, fashion forward way to wear a sneaker and still sport a heel! You look super cute!
