Cute Outfit of the Day: New Dress for the New Year

BCBG Max Azria dress: thrift $5
jacket: thrift $4
clutch: thrift $3
Target shoes: thrift $4
earrings: Forever 21 $10
Total Cost: $26

I've had this BCBG dress for a while and wasn't sure what to wear it for. I had thought about a wedding but didn't want to wear white- even though it has silver in it. Then, just before the holidays I came across it and decided it would make a lovely New Years Eve dress! I just love white in the winter and the silver accents make it perfectly festive to ring in the new year!

Hope you all are enjoying the holidays! We had a nice Christmas with both my family and my husbands. The best part was watching my niece dance and sing in the Christmas Eve pageant at church!

Here's what my hubby got me:
and this is what I got him:
and yes, Harvey enjoyed his first Christmas!

  1. Love this dress! Happy New Year to you...XO!

  2. Great choice for NY Eve! you look fab and so does little Harvey. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday!

  3. I really like it! I never thought light shoes and dark tights looked right but I love the silver and how it picks up the silver threads from the dress!

  4. You look so ready to sparkle on New Year's Eve. I think the dress is a standout for the holiday because of the white shade. Many will be wearing jewel tone, metallic or black dresses. I visted from Must-Have Mondays.

  5. The entire look is wonderful! I have similar pieces and never thought to pair them together. thanks for the inspiration!
