Cute Outfit of the Day: D&G

Dolce & Gabbana top: thrifted $3
Forever 21 skirt: thrifted $3
necklace: thrifted $3
vintage clutch: $2
headband: Forever 21 $4
shoes: Prabal Gurung for Target $10
Total Cost: $26

I was shocked when I found this pretty little wrap top at the thrift store and looked at the tag and saw Dolce & Gabbana! I was going to get it anyway but that was like a giant cherry on top! The silver ribbon sash is connected to the top. The ends of the sash were a little frayed so I just trimmed them and the top is as good as new!

I was inspired by this top to take this look in a 20's, feminine almost ballerina direction. So I added this pastel skirt and these shoes that lace up reminded me of ballet slippers. I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to show off this tapestry clutch and this was it! D&G have done several tapestry looking pieces in recent years so I thought it was the perfect choice!

  4. So cute! Isn't it strange/awesome when you find something at the thrift store that's designer? It kind of feels like you're tricking someone ;)

  5. I really like this look! I love finding designer things at the thrift store. I remember how excited I got when I found a genuine vintage Lilly Pulitzer dress for $3! You look very Great Gatsby inspired. :)

  9. Love, love, love this look. Amazing that it is D and G. All I have from them is a small purse, but I love their brand. I appreciate your styling more than I can say. I think you should do 'What Not to Wear' Thrift Store Edition for all of us financially challenged fashionistas! You go!

  11. A great way of wearing the blush colour so it doesn't drown out your beautiful skin tone...Note to self, blush on bottom!
