Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? The highlight of my weekend was seeing my friend Anita's son Will get baptized! It is so cool to see a young person (he's 10) decide for themselves to follow Jesus! I just love the symbolism of baptism that as you emerge from the water the old is gone and you are a new creation! Who doesn't love a fresh start?!
The other cool part about the baptism was that it was at the school that I went to from 1st grade to 8th grade! Will actually goes to my alma mater Gahanna Christian Academy (formerly Evangel Christian Academy)! I hadn't been there in almost 20 years! So it was really neat to see it again, although it's changed quite a bit! I loved that school and have so many great memories!
Today I'm linking up with:

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this outfit. The dress...the boots...the denim jacket...they all come together beautifully, and look great on you!
ReplyDeleteI want you to know that you inspired me to go to Goodwill this week! I ended up not finding anything I really wanted, although there was an awesome Gap jean jacket, pretty much like yours, but it was too tight on me. So I tipped off a friend, and she got it!
But I realize I need to visit frequently to get those great deals...and we actually have two Goodwill stores and a Salvation Army. I'm determined to try thrifting!
