Cute Outfit of the Day: Casual Lace

 J.Crew t-shirt: Goodwill $4
Target skirt: Goodwill $4
Target belt: Goodwill $2
bracelet: Forever 21 $5
shoes: Goodwill $4
Total Cost: $19

I love this black lace skirt I found at Goodwill but it just feels a little dressy for everyday life. So I decided to pair it with a worn-in J.Crew t-shirt and a casual brow belt to make it more daytime ready. The result; a simple, comfortable, and fashionable outfit to wear anytime!

I have to take my precious cat Fudge to the vet this afternoon. He has scabs all around his neck and he keeps scratching at it. I feel so bad so him- he seems miserable!  I'm also going to list some stuff on Ebay today so stay tuned for that! Have a great day everyone!

Styling tip: Stretch your wardrobe farther by pairing your dressy items with more casual items so you can wear them anytime!

  1. You know I used to be this super thrifty chic and I semi-lost my interest in it but your blog is really making me rethink it.

  2. Um, WOW! What a deal of an outfit - I was just about to ask how much you paid for that fabulous mini!!! I so wish mini skirts worked on my body - but I love the lace so much. I'd totally wear this outfit in pencil-skirt version!

  5. This is a great idea! That skirt is too cute but I can see how it would be too formal. Paired with these tee tho, it looks awesome! I am going to have to remember this because I have a few rarely worn skirts myself.
