I am so excited that backpack purses are back! Do you remember these from the mid 90's? Well, I do! They were one of my favorite trends from that era! I actually saved my favorite backpack purse from high school because I had a feeling this day would come!

i love YOUR particular backpack purse (the leopard makes it so chic!) but on the whole, im just not ready for this one -- i feel like its still too soon! or maybe i just feel too old to pull it off this time around...

ReplyDeleteLoved the mini-backpack trend in the mid-90s...especially after Clueless came out! I was in love with the silver purse Cher wore...which I was reminded by from the picture you posted up top. I rocked a neon green mini from Afterthoughts - wish I still had it. Wonder if the animal backpacks will make a comeback now, too! My coworker and I read your blog everyday. I used to swear by Goodwill... but when the economy fell, the popularity seemed to pick up and I rarely found the "good stuff" I had in the past. I loved shopping there before everyone knew Goodwill was selling Target surplus items. Very cool what you've done with your blog and the opportunities that have come from it! Way to go!

ooh i've always had a thing for backpacks! i eyed a black leather one from Nine West years ago, and have been keeping my eye on the ones on Urbn Outfitters, but i can never bring myself to paying so much for one. Just crossing my fingers that I will chance upon a pretty one in thrift stores!
