Cute Outfit of the Day: Vintage Body Con

I found this dress a couple of weeks ago at the Polaris Goodwill. I was on my lunch break from the Spa where I work so I didn't really have time to try stuff on. I really didn't think that this dress was going to fit but I bought it anyway because I thought it was that cool! I was very pleasantly surprised when I finally tried it on and it fit almost perfectly! Score! I love the trendy tribal print and the body con fit. It looks like something they would sell at Forever 21 but it's vintage so it's so much cooler!
The shoes are one of my most amazing finds. I got them a couple of years ago at the Goodwill on Morse Rd. I was so shocked when I found them because high end stores where currently selling very similar styles!
 vintage dress: Goodwill $5.99
shoes: Nine West via Goodwill $3.99
Total Cost: $9.98

I guess I could have added a belt or some accessories but since the print was so busy I decided to keep it simple. Less is more, right?

    Wow. I am so jealous that you have a thrift store right by your work! Maybe it's a good thing that I don't, though, right? I am very pattern-shy, but you inspire me to incorporate more patterns (thrifted ones, of course) into my wardrobe :) Ok and this is about to be creepy, but I printed off a pic of you for the next time I get my hair cut.     It kind of reminds me of an ikat print. <3's.....I didn't realize there was a Goodwill at Polaris. Thanks for the tipoff :-)

    LOVE that dress! Each time I visit your blog I get an itch to go thrifting...trying to cut back though; running out of closet space!!

    Thanks Ally! Imitation is the best form of flattery! I am so lucky that I work as an Esthetician at a Hair Salon and Day Spa so I get my hair done whenever I feel like it! It's great!

    very nice and simple! i wouldn't have picked up this dress if i'd seen it on the racks, but you have the perfect body type for it! good steal!
