I have some exciting news!
Some of you may have already heard,
but I am going to be on the news!
It is for the grand opening of the newest Volunteers of America on Henderson Rd on May 5th! The fine people at VOA have asked me to be there as the local resident thrift shopping specialist and speak to the public about my blog and about how I thrift shop! How cool is that!
If you are local and would like to watch me screw up rock the news, I will be on this Thursday May 5th on the Fox 28 morning news show called Good Day Columbus. I will be going on at 6:55am with Johnny DiLoretto and may do a few other segments between then and 8:50am!
I will hopefully be able to have it recorded so I can post it here on my blog for those of you who don't want to get up at the crack of dawn or don't live in Columbus. And I will try to get lots of pictures too!
I would also like to personally invite you to come to the grand opening of the newest Volunteers of America store. The address is 1824 W. Henderson Rd. They will open the doors at 9am on Thursday May 5th. The first 1,000 people will receive a free VOA reusable tote bag! So come early while the gettin' is good. They will have a ton of great stuff that hasn't been picked over yet. I will be there so come and say Hi and get some fabulous new stuff!

I am so excited for you this Thursday! I am getting up extra early just to watch and am even considering taking the morning off work (ha) so I can go to this grand opening! I think it may be too short of notice though :/. I shall try! The store looks lovely and you will rock the news, I'm sure! :]
