dress: Volunteers of America $1.99

bracelet: H&M $3.99
earrings: Forever 21 $4.90
Target shoes: Goodwill $3.99

"Little Lindsey"- I've been called that all my life! You probably can't tell but I'm pretty small- only 5ft tall! So when I shop at thrift stores I like to check out primarily the dresses and skirts in the kids section. This dress is one of my finds from the girls section of Volunteers of America.
I love the seersucker fabric and the little ruffle on the sleeves. It does look pretty young but by adding the scarf and the earrings I think it becomes age appropriate.

Today I'm linking up with:

  6. holy moly - 1.99???!!!!! Love it. Looks so cute on you!

  7. Can't even tell that it's a girl's dress! I looks great on you...and you can't beat that price!

  8. Seersucker is like my favorite fabric for summer. This dress is too cute, in a very age-appropriate way ;)

  9. Hi!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog :) I'm now following back.

What a super cute outfit! Love it.. I'm not the best when it comes to dressing and accessorising.. I might get there one day lol. Can't beat the prices either. Wish you could find things like that at those prices here, out charity shops charge almost 'normal' prices these days :/.

  10. Aww I love the way you accessorized this outfit! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm so happy to find a thrifting blog - i've been trying to do more of that lately instead of shopping for new things all the time.

  11. you find the cutest things at thrift stores!! can I go with you?? : ) I LOVE this dress - you are so cute!

  12. So cute! I'm on the small side too--but taller than you, so, most of the time too tall to fit into anything in the kids section. Still, I can almost never find anything in the adults section small enough to fit me! It makes thrifting hard to be in between kid and adult sizes.

  13. I love that this came from the little girl's section; you totally can't tell - it is completely adorable.
Its cool; I'm a little curvier, so I shop in the maternity section all the time with the intention of belting things. When you thrift shop, that isn't a big deal.

  14. Yay! Another fashion blogger on a budget! I am so glad you stopped by today because it led me to you! Loving that scarf...can't wait to start wearing them again!!! You have fab style and look forward to seeing more!!

  15. A beautiful dress, a soft and delicate outfit.

  16. Wow great finds! Love the scarf and those shoes are super cute!

  17. Heya, I just stumbled across your blog from the Blog Party, and I'm glad I did :) I love that scarf!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am now following as Pretty In Pink on GFC :)

Let me know if you stop by!!

  18. You do a good job of hiding the fact that you're only 5 feet tall! I'm only 5 foot 2 and a half, and the extra half inch does count! I wish we had a Volunteers of America out here! The best thrift store I've found things in is the Goodwill! -Jessica
